About Us

I was born to a farming family in Pennsylvania in 1943. Moved to Alaska in July 1950 where we homesteaded 160 acers of land on the Kenai Peninsula at a place called Happy Valley....

With the modern two man crosscut saw, (at that time no one ever heard of a chain saw) my dad and I, with saw and axe in hand built a hand hewn log home where we lived for many years.

     I only wish today that I could have had a digital movie camera to record the history, beauty and even more splender of so long ago. This is, to me, the best place on earth to live... I have seen a huge change over the past 60 years.  I think the most significant change was the roads.

    The only way to get to the peninsula at that time was a young railroad from Anchorage to Moose Pass.  We then traveled the "road", it was really just a very rough and muddy path, down the beautiful Kenai peninsula to Happy Valley.

    My wife, my son and I witnessed the 9.3 earthquake of 1964. which was called the "Good Friday Earthquake." We lived on Kodiak Island at that time.

Other changes were in the fishing, lumbering, finding of oil and natural gas, gold mining and the mining of coal for home and export. Yes, everything has changed. From a pioneering way of life, to the ultra modern shopping malls of Anchorage, like those in your home town, anywhere, USA.

     The wide variety of jobs and travel has given me the experience that has made me the videographer I am today.

     Some accomplishments:

* Videographer for Kenai Peninsula College.

* About 45 hrs.viewing time of instructional video on "how-to" rebuild automatic transmissions. In the early 90's they were marketed in Hot Rod, Car Craft, and Circle Track magazines, one milliom three hundred thousand adds a month world wide....

* We created media for local cable TV.

* Training tapes for the Red Cross.

* Filmed testing of new products seeking US Coast Guard approval.

* Training videos for commerical fishing.

* Promotional DVDs for marketing "Alaska Wild Salmon."

* Informational DVDs, for Alaska Autism Resource Center, Special Education service Agency,for families, teachers and those learning to deal with children  of Autism.

* 10 years of creating split screen seminars and ASL signning for hearing impaired for a world wide organization.

Our plans for the future are to continue making all types of educational media. We hope to market a cooking video featuring cooking Alaskan style.....

Food for the body and the brain...(fish)
